“This is a truly exceptional and rewarding field – there is such a sense of achievement when couples are finally able to conceive, and being able to follow through from tiny cells to a newborn baby.”
As the Founding Medical Director of Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore, Dr Chieng was instrumental in setting up the centre since January 2015, bringing across his expertise and experience to enhance the depth of fertility care in Singapore.
Dr Chieng specialises in male infertility, reproductive microsurgery and fertility preservation. He is highly-regarded in Singapore as a specialist who achieves results, and provides exceptional quality care and service.
He has worked at KK Women's and Children's Hospital and Singapore General Hospital, and also spent some time in Melbourne consulting with Melbourne
IVF. Because he sees so many patients suffering from emotional stress and anxiety related to their worries about conceiving, he has also undertaken a study in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and has seen good results when combining acupuncture treatment with assisted reproductive treatment
